We contribute to the climate transition

Sustainable development

Eleda and its subsidiaries are committed to promoting sustainable business by establishing a strong presence in the market with financial stability, leveraging its expertise to drive ongoing progress toward a sustainable society and providing a secure and supportive work environment. Our objective is for Eleda’s business to be environmentally, socially, and financially sustainable in the long term.

Climate responsibility

We are committed to sustainable business practices and take responsibility for our impact on our employees, customers, and partners. Eleda aligns with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, which guide our ethical and sustainable conduct. We have set a clear climate goal: to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. As part of this ambition, we are also working toward a circular material flow—minimizing waste, maximizing resource efficiency, and promoting reuse and recycling throughout our operations.

Electrification of society

A significant part of Eleda’s operations involves building and maintaining infrastructure that supports the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the Nordic region. For example, in electricity distribution, we are helping to renovate and expand the power grid, which will enable long-term reductions in emissions generated by society.

Through these efforts, Eleda acts as an enabler of society’s transition toward a climate-neutral future.
